I want to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. This one is just for fun, and it takes me back to high school when the first Star Wars movie came out. I have enjoyed the franchise throughout the years and this particular kit represents the Resistance A-Wing Fighter as it appeared in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi. It is designed to be a quick snap together build and has lights and sound features that make it suitable as a toy. You can put it together quickly and let the kids (or grandkids, in my case) play with it, since it doesn’t need to be painted or glued together. It actually comes with various colored panels and sections to make it look reasonable. For those who are more serious, you could spend some time adding more details and character to the finish and it can be something to be proud of. This kit is easily available on eBay, but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you quickly. Here are some of the details about this nifty kit that I found from around the web: The Revell website has great photos of a finished kit and tells us the kit has 25 snap together pieces. They provide a link that eventually gets you to the complete instruction set (there is an easier way below). They also list the following features of this fun and playful kit: Blue A-wing fighter from the new film Star Wars: The Last Jedi to build and play with. With pilot figure and authentic light and sound effects. Simply put it together – no glue, paint or tools needed. Length approx. 22cm. 25 parts. Suitable for 6 years and over. Batteries included (3 x LR44). – Yellow light up engines- Engine and combat sounds- Opening hinge canopy- Retractable landing gear- Pilot figure The A-wing used by the Resistance is a nimble, wedge-shaped fighter propelled to incredible speeds by large twin engines. It is a longtime reliable starfighter model that dates back to the struggle between Empire and Rebellion. Scalemates.com confirms that this is a 2017 reboxing of a new tool from the same year. This matches up with the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Sadly, there is not much useful information about the kit or subject to help with this simple build. There is a short (under 7 minutes) Build Review video on YouTube by Right on Replicas that shows you everything in that kit. There are actually several videos that walk you through the assembly of this kit. The kit is designed for children, so unless you plan to add considerable detail, you can probably ‘wing it’. This kit is in a large, colorful box about 9” x 8.5” x 3”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with two tape disks, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready.
