This listing is for 1 NOS GM car &/or truck RESISTOR. # 6430763. This resistor fits on the backside of a Fuel gauge, coolant temperature and/or an oil pressure gauge. NOTE: (A Chevy all-electrical oil pressure gauge; not the one with a copper tube attached to the back.) NOTE: This part will not work on a 1970s GM car volt gauge. A resistor was used on the back of all 1970- up to 1989 GM Cars, (one each per gauge) Cars such as: Firebird, Trans Am, Lemans, Grand Prix, Chevelle, Camaro, Monte Carlo, El Camino. Impala, Caprice, Nova, Vega, Century, Buick Skylark or Regal, Oldsmobile 442, Cutlass. This resistor is color coded with Blue paint: it measures 82 ohms. GM used to color code these resistors back then in case they needed to “fine tune” a certain gauge for calibration at the factory.
