This listing features a “lightened” drilled disc brake rotor to replace the FRONT Right-Hand disc of any late 1972-74 Norton Commando with an OEM (06-1855) rotor. Included are five (5) stainless steel mounting nuts with five (5) stainless steel locking washers plus two (2) zinc chromate plated Grade 8 caliper mounting bolts with two (2) stainless steel washers. Part numbers this corrosion resistant hardware will replace are NM27815, 06-0348 or 14-0302 for the disc nuts. Part # 60-2418 for the disc washers. Part # 06-7969 or 0700291 for the caliper mounting bolts and NM26634 for the washers. There are 15 (fifteen) parts included in this sale.This is described as a “lightened” disc. It actually weighs 4lbs. 15.4 ounces. The original undrilled OEM disc weighs 4lbs 14.8 ounces. However, the original undrilled disc is 5.80 mm thick. The new and improved “lightened” drilled disc is 6.70mm thick. Drilling the thinner OEM disc has always been a recipe for potential warpage. You are getting more beef, better stopping power in wet conditions, no rusted nuts/bolts and a real cool looking rotor. It looks fast even on a dead Commando. The disc is precision drilled and Made In England. The hardware is all US made. The caliper mounting bolts are 25% stronger than the OEM bolts and most importantly, they are corrosion resistant. Take a look at the picture of rusted OEM caliper mounting bolts. The stainless disc mounting hardware and caliper mounting bolts are also listed in our eBay store. We have available stainless steel, pistons, bleeders, end plugs, rebuild kits and brake pads in our eBay store. The caliper and rusted bolts are not included in this sale. Availability is limited.This will also replace the OEM REAR disc rotor of any 1975-77 Mk III. It will fit the front of a Mark III however the drill pattern is not in the right direction for the Left-hand disc brake of the Mk III.
