For sale is a vintage “Carrie” doll made by Suzanne Gibson. Doll measures about 17″ from head down to where her knees are bent. She is wearing the original long white christening gown and white underpants. Gown is longer than the doll. Blue-gray eyes close when she is laid down and open when she is sat or stood back up. Has a pink head ribbon which may not be original. Original tag is still attached to her right hand. Back of neck has a date of 1977 stamped on it, I believe this is likely from the 1980’s or possibly late 1970s. Vintage and pre-owned. Doll has some light signs of handling, most notably on her head where there is a tiny dent, some paint rubs and various scuffs. Paint and features on the face look good. A few light scuffs/marks on her legs. Fabric body is clean. Gown has recently been gently washed; underskirt has some small minor spots visible upon close inspection. The waist on the underpants is too big as the elastic in the waist has worn out from age. Comes from a smokefree home. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
