1996 TMI Products, Inc. Interior Volkswagen Trim Products Catalog Description Up for sale is a vintage (or nearing vintage) TMI Products, Inc. Interior Volkswagen Tim Products Catalog from 1996. This parts catalog along with quite a few others were sitting in a crate around the house for few decades; being kept in a crate that had acquired a lot of dust and become overrun by a highly unwanted termite infestation. It was dusted off and luckily enough, it appears as though this catalog dodged a bullet on a free termite meal and appears to be in pretty good shape; all things considered. The catalog has some slightly bent corners on some of the lower right corner which affects some of the first few pages of the publication (up to page 8) and also has a rather large crease mark visible on the cover just a little below the middle of it and located towards the bottom right corner. It has also been perforated; (with five holes; two of which – the top and bottom – are bigger than the rest) which I believe came like that straight from the press (meaning of course that the smaller holes were not perforated after the fact by a 3 hole puncher tool). Overall, this catalog seems to be in pretty good condition; despite the aforementioned blemishes and whatnot. The pages and cover also seem to have some spotting and light yellowing on them; brought on by general age and storage. I originally had this catalog listed in a lot with a few other VW related magazines and catalogs but never managed to get any watchers for it; perhaps because the price of shipping was too expensive due to the combined overall weight; which is why I’m now listing each catalog from that lot in separate listings; as it grants me the ability to take more pictures of each item individually and what have you. The catalog has a total of 61 numbered pages and while it may not be the most sought after parts catalog for a VW bug line, it is close to being vintage within a matter of years, so I figure it may hold some type of intrinsic value or maybe even some nostalgia for some Volkswagen enthusiasts and/or magazine collectors alike; hence the reason why I’m pricing it to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts, for my loss is your gain as they say in the trade.
