These fine leashes are hand-made with careful craftsmanship by Amish harness-makers in Northeastern Ohio. Our 20′ long leash is great for training, or for use during less-restricted play time. Each leash has a swiveling solid brass snap clip … 3/4 inch size for ease of use. The clip end of the leash is carefully doubled back and securely sewn over for extra strength. There are NO rivets – because a punched rivet hole would reduce overall strength. The handling end is diagonal-cut and heat-sealed (NO loop). Useful as a “drag leash” as there is no handle to catch on things when the dog is dragging it … this can be a valuable tool for law enforcement or military canine professionals. Leashes are made of genuine BioThane®, the same material the local Amish use when crafting buggy driving lines. (A soft supple synthetic leather-like outer with a strong webbed polyester inner – having the look and feel of leather, but stronger and easier to maintain.) Soft and smooth to the touch, providing a secure grip and easy on the hands, even when wet. Lightweight, but still has a high tensile strength. Will not stretch, rot or fade. Does not absorb moisture, resists mold and mildew. Wipes clean with warm water and soap, or just a damp cloth. Color: black All materials used for this product are made in U.S.A.
