2000-2006 Suburban, Avalanche, Yukon XL Inner Outer Rockers & Quarter Fronts **All of our body panels are made of METAL/STEEL to repair rusted areas of the vehicle, these repair panels will require cutting, grinding, welding and painting to install and finish. We do not have these parts in plastic** This 8 piece kit includes the inner, outer rocker panels and the patch panels located between the rear tire and door, when both parts are installed together they will cover the entire area from the back edge of the front fender to the front of the rear tire. Fits Avalanche models without plastic cladding Quarter patch measures: 19 in. high applications: 2000-2006 suburban 2002-2006 avalanche (without body side cladding) 2000-2006 gmc yukon (xl models only) The exterior body panels located directly below the door and in front of the rear tire are of the most vulnerable areas on your vehicle, the rear tire picks up everything from the road and throws against this area leaving dings, dents and paint chips. It’s only a matter of time before the road salt and moisture will begin to penetrate and start to rust it out. Replacing the entire side can be costly, which is why we sell a wide selection of rust repair panels. All of our replacement patch panels are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. Each panel has an EDP coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. Regarding Minor Imperfections In Panels: The sheet metal you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections, which are considered normal sheet metal characteristics due to the nature of the product. BSP does not consider these minor imperfections as damaged. These items will be easily corrected during the filling, priming and sanding phase of your sheet metal installation. All sheet metal panels will require some sort of manipulation during installation. Every panel that we sell is inspected and then carefully packaged to protect against damage that may occur during transit. Test Fit All Panels Prior To Paint and Installation: BSP recommends test fitting all sheet metal panels prior to final paint and installation. It is also recommended that the damaged area of the vehicle not to be cut out before receiving the new sheet metal. Measure twice, cut once to be safe. Sheet metal panels are not a finished product like door handles & mirrors. Minor modifications including elongating mounting holes, adding shims etc. are normal and may be necessary when installing sheet metal. This is a consideration when reinstalling original GM panels as well as reproductions. It is important to note that hard driving conditions can twist frames and bodies out of original tolerances. Poor body work from previous collisions can cause problems with the body structures that the panels are attached to.
