These stunning bases are perfect for adding an extra level of detail to your troops, quickly and easily. Supplied unpainted. Painted examples shown to clarify detail. The bases are easy to paint with a superb level of detail and can be freely mixed with bases from many other manufacturers to produce a unique unit. Further Info Made from a durable cast polyurethane resin, these bases are supplied unpainted and without flock or water-effects materials. Due to the intricate detail of these items and the nature of the resin hand-casting process, it is highly likely that a few small defects may be apparent in the final casts such as bubbles or mould lines/flashing. This is an unfortunate result which cannot be helped and can be easily remedied with a small amount of modelling putty and a hobby knife/sandpaper. Indeed, anyone familiar with resin products and some metal casts, even from large companies, will already be familiar with the clean up required. Always be sure to wear a dust mask or respirator when sanding or drilling polyurethane resins. Before painting, items should be washed thoroughly in warm (not hot!) soapy water to remove any mould contaminants.
