It is slightly wrinkled, but has no tears or damage. She is wearing a millinery flower hat in her mohair blonde curls. Her hair and hat are excellent. Her dress top matches her lace, and is made of satin ribbon. She is carrying lots of millinery flowers. She is tall, and her base is nice and firm. She was made to be a pin cushion, but doesn’t have any holes that I would see. The bottom is a brighter green than the rest, so she has faded a bit with time. eBay This type of doll is my personal favorite – she is made from composition, with the main component being plaster. She is molded and hand painted. She is marked Germany at the bottom, under her dress. There are lots of these dolls around, but most have damage. Since the doll is primarily chalkware, she is fragile. Since these dolls are hand painted, they are all slightly different. She has platinum blonde mohair in lovely curls, with a darling lace hat with millinery flowers. She is carrying lots of millinery flowers, as well. She stands just a tiny bit tilted. Her stuffing has settled over time and compressed. She is a tiny bit smaller than she was originally, and her dress is slightly wrinkled at the bottom. Her satin ribbon around her waist has a bow in the back, and there is another ribbon that is gathered around her neck with a bow in the front. She is in just remarkable condition. Her paint is all excellent with no touch ups, no cracks, no breaks, no damage, no repairs. She displays just beautifully. Her hair and hat are impeccable with no damage. She is about 7″ tall, and won’t disappoint. She is antique from the 1920’s. I have other dolls for sale, so take a look.
