eBay Antique AS 340 trench watch Movement – Spares or Repair – This has a dirty engine turned dial, these dials normally clean quite well but I’ll leave that to the discretion of any buyer. I can just make out a name, it appears to be Wm Watson (William, I assume). There is also another word or name underneath, a town i would assume but I can’t make it out. Both are very indistinct. The bolt spring is clearly broken but the balance is intact. As you can see from the picture, one of the plates has been changed as it’s a different colour. |Approximate diameter is 23.5mm with the dial marginally smaller. Thanks for looking, if you have any questions please ask. My spares or repair items are sold as non-running & in need of attention. If it is running when I assess it I report it to help potential buyers decide if it is good enough to service & use in the future. I cannot guarantee that it will continue to run as many of these movements have been stored for years & will be dirty, watch movements stored without cases can have unseen dirt which may stop the movement sooner than later. Please consider this when making a purchase. Any vintage watches I sell that claim to be waterproof will no longer be guaranteed, this is a manufacturers warranty that will have expired years ago & on many vintage watches an unreliable claim in the first place.
