CONDITION: Wear to gilded rims. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Capodimonte around 1810. The saucer is 5 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. The porcelain is molded with high relief identical to the 18th century Meissen swan service. Herons are in the air and water and the swans are serenely floating in the reeds. It is all hand painted in fine detail.
