Up for sale here is a nice Berkeley Bionix #6 Fly Rod. It has never been used. X40-8 #6, 100% graphite carbon rod. Condition: Rod is MINT, no signs of use and no breaks or damage of any kind. Comes with sock and aluminum storage tube shown. Note: The metal Tube that stores the unit has wear or scuffs from all these years of garage/shelf storage and some moves…but the rod has in fact never had any use whatsoever. Details: I bought this rod over a decade ago…and also a very high price custom Sage rod “thinking” I would get into fly fishing and never did. I bought all sorts of equipment but I ended up having to relocate out of the country (as a matter of fact) and where I am now in AL…everyone is fishing crappie bass or catfish and using live bait, actually. Pricing: When I bought it new some years ago I paid something like $175 after tax for this rod. I’ve seen some go recently for much less at auction but those seem drastically reduced. It’s a fine rod and the Bionic is probably the best the Berkeley ever made. My loss is your gain. Check out my other listings as I have a fly reel which I only ever displayed (that was attached to my sage) for sale. This rod has again, never saw any use and was only ever stored in its protective sleeve and metal storage tube. This will ship usps post. Thanks!
