Bose Acoustimass 600 Series I (original) Speaker System 5 Single Cubes All Cables 5.1 Tested, previously Factory Restored Details: 5 single redline cubes and factory renewed woofer unit have ALL RCA female inputs jacks on this, the Original Series I. Your own 5 channel amp is needed, Series I has no on-board amplification. All full length Bose OEM cables are included. Unlike with Series II and higher the cubes do NOT have bare wire input clips, they have color coded angle plug RCA plugs. The 2 cubes with horizonal alignment tabs are for front right and left and the other 3 with vertical tabs are for center and rear surround. Working perfectly with minor wear on cube cabinets, cube black cloth grills very good with no snags or holes.Comes with Bose 20 foot and 50 foot coded black cube ribbon cables and 20 foot woofer to amplifier cable with bare wire ends on amp side. These speakers need an external up to 5 channel amplifier with 10W to 100W RMS per channel at 4 to 8 ohms. All parts fully tested, in very good condition. Sound is excellent and visually only minor wear on cube cabinets. Redline single cube black cloth grills very good with no snags or holes and all original logos. Complete ready to play 5.1 speaker system has no separate subwoofer input, bass is extracted from the main speaker inputs. Tested, cleaned and in very good condition with minor wear, no odors or smoke.We tested with movies, CDs and streaming music, the sound is excellent with accurate highs and convincing bass. The subwoofer gets it’s bass from the speaker inputs and does not have a separate volume control. The lowest frequency sounds are handled by the subwoofer and not passed through, this reduces stress on the cubes.Note: It is very important to connect the receiver output speaker wires correctly. Red marked wire to red amp terminals and plain wire to black amp terminals. Bass response will be greatly reduced if the speakers are connected out of phase to the amp. Note 2: The RCA cable plugs have 2 black plugs for front right and left speakers and 3 gray plugs for center and rear channels. Watch for the tabs slots on the RCA plug covers and align them with the correct plugs tabs on the units.
