Brand: Brooks Brothers Size: 46 L Fabric: 100% Wool Description: This Listing is for a Brooks Brothers Madison suit made from a dark gray pinstriped saxxon wool. It is in a very good preowned condition but there is a broken sleeves button and the lining around the armpit will need to be restitched (a fairly simple repair). Please see pictures for details. The pants are listed as a 41 but please review measurements. There is about .5″ to let out in the sleeves and 3.5″ to let out in the pant length. The pants have been brought in but there is a little fabric to let the back out. Measurements: Jacket· Sleeve: 26.75″· Pit to Pit: 23.75″· Waist: 22.75″· Shoulder: 20.25″· Length: 32.75″Pants· Waist: 36″· Length: 43.5″· Inseam: 31.25″· Thigh: 28″· Leg Opening: 19″ SU000056 Measurement descriptions and other information are listed below Measurement Descriptions: All measurements are done with the garment flat on a table. The fabric is not pulled or stretched during measurements. It is allowed to lay naturally. All measurements are taken with a flat ruler rather than a measuring tape. Sleeve- This measurement is taken from the outside edge of the sleeve while lying face up. It Is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. I generally give an estimate of how much sleeve fabric is left to let out (see measurement disclaimer). Pit to Pit- This measurement is the width between one arm pit to the other measured at the seam. This measurement is indication of the chest size. This Is measured with the jacket laying face up. Waist- This measurement is the width of the jacket at the top button (2nd button for 3 button jackets). This measurement is taken with the jacket lying face up and with the button buttoned. Keep in mind that this is the most “objective” measurement since the button can have movement inside the buttonhole. Also please note that this measurement may not be the narrowest part of the jacket due to differences in how jackets are cut. Shoulder- This measurement is taken from one upper seam of the shoulder to the other. This measurement is taken with the jacket lying face down and does not include any fabric from the sleeves. Length- This measurement is taken with the jacket lying face down. It is the measurement that runs from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket. Waist- This pant measurement is the waist measurement done while the plant is lying flat. The measurement is then doubled. Length- This is the total length of the pant. The measurement is taken down the side of the pant while the pants are lying flat. Inseam- This measurement is taken from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pant while the pants are lying flat. m Thigh- This measurement is taken across the pant in the thigh area then doubled. It is taken around the same height as the crotch seam. It should give you a rough idea of how much room you will have in the thighs. Please keep in mind that this measurement is difficult to take accurately and should only be used as a general guideline. Leg opening- This is measurement is taken across the bottom of the pant leg at the leg opening. The measurement Is then doubled.
