I have evaluated and sold over 400 Canon A-1, AE-1 and AE-1 Program Cameras! I tested this camera and it appears to work as designed (the battery used for testing is not included). I examined the lens with magnifying glasses and a bright light and it is clear and clean with the exception of one small spot of debris as shown in picture and I can see no lens glass scratches nor internal haze or fungus. I tested the light seals for leaks and they are fine and I installed a new mirror damper for you. This looks like a very good camera that shows wear on the body as shown in the pictures and priced accordingly. Comes with a vintage “Hippie” camera strap, sports grip, lens caps, flash cap, rubber eye cup and a lens filter.
