eBay U & azebuy Shop of toys and models from Ukraine DESCRIPTION Cobra AH-1G+Bronco OV-10A With US Pilots 1/48 Scale Plastic Model Kit ICM 48303 Manufacturer: ICM Material: Plastic Condition: New in original packaging Historical reference “Cobra” (English Cobra, combined arms index – AH-1, manufacturer’s factory index – Bell Model 209, in Russian – AEich-1) is an American attack helicopter developed by Bell Helicopter in the early 1960s. The world’s first specially designed serial combat helicopter. It was used with great success in the Vietnam War and other armed conflicts. At the beginning of the 21st century, AH-1 helicopters continue to be in service with a number of armed forces of states and countries, including the United States. The pilot’s seats, cockpit sides (sliding shields), side projections of the engine and some of the vulnerable structural elements are armored. The reservation was made by installing NOROC composite armor. There is a modification of AH-1S with improved survivability. All systems are invulnerable to a single hit by a 12.7 mm armor-piercing bullet; ensuring at least 30 minutes of flight after a single defeat of a 23-mm OFZ projectile from an anti-aircraft gun ZU-23-2. Various weapons can be placed on 4 hardpoints: up to 4 TOW ATGMs, up to 8 AGM-114 Hellfire ATGMs (AH-1W and AH-1Z), AIM-9L type missiles; up to 2 suspended cannon mounts, as well as NAR caliber 70 and 127 mm.
