This model reproduces the atmosphere of the early 1966 Jazz Bass. Neck binding, matching head and dot position marks, so called “Dot Binding JB”. The “Dot Binding JB” is reproduced. Paddle pegs are a must for this year. The paddle pegs are the same as those on the popular HAMA OKAMOTO PB! The matching head gives it a special atmosphere. The look is similar to the recently popular American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass, which is a series made in the USA, We have succeeded in reproducing the look and feel of the “American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass” in the Made In Japan series. The pickups are US Vintage Jazz Bass(R) Pickups made in the USA. The sound is more powerful than that of the regular Traditional series. The Traditional 60s JBs are usually made of basswood, but this model has an alder body, which is the same as the specifications of the time.
