A complete set of authentically autographed original 1964 Topps & A & BC ROOKIE cards of THE BEATLES – JOHN LENNON, GEORGE HARRISON, PAUL McCARTNEY & RINGO STARR. All four cards are from the color series set. Following are details on each card: JOHN LENNON – ORIGINAL 1964 A & BC ROOKIE CARD – card #22 – Signed at top in blue ballpoint pen. Card has a slight tape stain at upper left and creasing lower right . Card has been authenticated by world renowned Beatles autograph expert Frank Caiazzo and comes with his full Letter of Authenticity. GEORGE HARRISON – ORIGINAL 1964 A & BC ROOKIE CARD – card #16. Signed at top in blue ballpoint pen. Card contains tape stains by each corner and has creasing lower left. Card has been authenticated by world renowned Beatles autograph expert Frank Caiazzo and comes with his full Letter of Authenticity. PAUL McCARTNEY – ORIGINAL 1964 Topps ROOKIE CARD – card #87. Signed in black sharpie. Card condition is EX-MT+/NM. Card has been authenticated by PSA/DNA and comes with their Letter of Authenticity. RINGO STARR – ORIGINAL 1964 Topps ROOKIE CARD printed in Canada – card #56. Signed in black ballpoint pen. Card condition is VG-EX+, has light crease top center-right and corner wear. Card has been authenticated by well-known and respected Beatles autograph expert Tom Fontaine, and comes with his Letter of Authenticity. THESE ARE VERY RARE & HIGHLY SOUGHT-AFTER SIGNED ROOKIE CARDS!!! THIS IS THE ONLY KNOWN COMPLETE SET OF SIGNED BEATLES ROOKIE CARDS IN EXISTENCE. In other words, POP 1. From the time The Beatles burst onto the scene, they were extremely inaccessible to fans. Sadly, John passed at a young age. While George did outlive John, most of his later years were spent in seclusion at his Friar Park mansion in the U.K., and he made very few public appearances of any type, thus was inaccessible for autographs. While Paul has made many public appearances over the years, he has always had VERY TIGHT security and it is close to impossible to get close to him. Ringo stopped signing with full name about thirty years ago and stopped completely around 2009. NOTE: The John & George A & BC cards were manufactured in the U.K. They partnered with Topps to produce them there. The photos are the same as the Topps issue, though they are a little smaller thanthe Topps cards, measuring est. 2 and a quarter x 3 and a quarter inches. SHIPPING: $2000.00.
