Wide Trestle Base for Elevated Trains and Subways Scenery Sheets now makes it quick and easy to create elevated track sections with our trestle platform kit. Each unit contains four sides and four base clips that combine to create a 8.5” tall by 6” long by by 6″ wide” elevated platform compatible with all types of G scale track including LGB, Bachmann, Aristocraft and others. They are designed to appear similar to the elevated train platforms found in many urban areas. Trestle platform assemble in minutes – simply insert the side trestle pieces into the reinforced edge slots of the front and back trestle pieces. Add drop of glue into the slots and at the bottom for an even more secure connection. Trestle platforms are designed to provide enough clearance for both G scale vehicles and G scale trains. The width allows for enough room to accommodate a road or a single track. Trestle pieces come in gray but can be painted for a custom look. Kit includes two reinforced front and back pieces and two side pieces, which assembled create one 8.5”x6”x6” elevated platform. Combine multiple kits to create longer and wider trestle platforms.
