A BEAUTIFUL 1956 GENUINE AND ORIGINAL SOLID 18CT GOLD FULLY HALLMARKED MID SIZE JAEGER LECOULTRE WATCH IN LOVELY ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH A SUPERB FULLY SERVICED RARE CAL P428/1 GENUINE JAEGER LECOULTRE MOVEMENT. DEFINITELY A WATCH FOR THE COLLECTOR, OR THE JAEGER LECOULTRE ENTHUSIAST FRESH FROM AN ESTATE SALE AND NEVER OFFERED ON EBAY BEFORE! CASE: This is a stunning, and beautiful all solid 18 carat GOLD two piece snap back watch case. The inside rear of the case is FULLY HALLMARKED for London 1956. The case is in excellent all round condition for its advanced years with no real wear noted. It has NO personalizations to the back. The case has a LOVELY gold lustre as only solid gold can. The case measures 2.8cms (28mm) across, excluding the crown. This is a stunning and beautiful QUALITY original JAEGER LECOULTRE watch case. DIAL: This is an absolutely lovely, and most importantly totally original fully signed GOLD textured dial. It shows a natural ageing, patina small losses and light spots and staining, showing that it is totally original and has not been re-dialled The dial is signed “Jaeger Le Coultre” in black painted lettering. It has lovely gold colored applied batons and quarter Arabic numerals. The beautiful minute, hour and sub second hands are all black steel in color and are in good condition. This is a really lovely ORIGINAL dial in excellent original condition. The crystal the only brand new addition to the piece and is showing no wear whatsoever. MOVEMENT: This is a beautiful and absolutely genuine JAEGER LECOULTRE FULLY SIGNED HI GRADE manual wind P428/1 movement. Jaeger LeCoultre were at their height at this time and were producing fantastic timepieces. This movement would have been hand made in the Jaeger LeCoultre workshops by a master craftsman. It has a beautiful gold colored finish and is FULLY signed on the top plate in a beautiful typesetting, showing its true Jaeger roots. The watch winds smoothly and sets with ease. It is in full working condition and has nice quiet operation and has just been FULLY SERVICED by my watch maker. The watch is keeping good time as tested over a 12 hour period to within a couple of mins per day. The crown is unsigned and may be a later replacement. It is in good condition showing light wear. BAND. This is a nearly new stitched black leather 16mm band. It is new and is in excellent condition. This band will fit up to an eight-and-a-half-inch wrist comfortably. It compliments this beautiful JAEGER LECOULTRE watch absolutely superbly! THIS IS A FABULOUS AND RARE CIRCA 1956 JAEGER LECOULTRE TIMEPIECE.
