I am offering for sale this Great User Antique Vintage Pexto No 4 Size Hand Bench Plane Tool USA Inv#MH08 The plane and cutter is unmarked except for No 5 and Made in USA behind frog. The plane measures about 10″ L x 2-7/16″ W. The black japanning in great condition. The cutter has a lot of pitting & rust, but would clean up nicely. It measures: 6″L x 2″ W. It would need to be sharpened for optimal use. The mouth shows a minor nick but nothing that would interfere with the performance. Tote and knob have wear and refinish is spotty, the knob has a crack at base (see last photo). This plane has been cleaned up slightly and is ready to go to work for you…You just need to hone and use!!!! (see all photos) User Condition is Excellent, Clean and Ready!!! A really good user tool ready to go to work for you and a nice addition to your toolbox!!!
