Hard Drive iMac 500GB Mid 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 El Capitan 10.11 DESCRIPTION: Works with iMac 2007 (mid), 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. Please, in your buyers note put the year and make of your iMac. Example, iMac 2009 (late). If you’re unsure what year your Mac is let me know your serial number which is located on the bottom stand. I can then look it up for you. Brand: Seagate Type: SATA II/7200 RPM This hard drive is in great working condition. It comes preloaded with the Mac OS El Capitan (10.11.6). All you need to do is take apart your iMac and install this hard drive. I can send you a video which shows you how to take apart your iMac. Then you simply boot up your iMac and it’s the full functional Mac OS El Capitan. My hard drives are a Seagate brand and have 4 pins for the temperature sensor. If you previously had a Western Digital one you would need to buy a new temperature sensor. No mounting screws are included. Just use your old ones from your iMac. Do make sure you have at least 4GB of RAM.
