This listing is for an assortment pack of 5 pieces of dual wall adhesive heat shrink tubing with meltable glue lining: COLOR: CLEAR SIZES IN PACK: 1/4 inch diameter – 1 foot tube 3/8 inch diameter – 1 foot tube 1/2 inch diameter – 1 foot tube 3/4 inch diameter – 1 foot tube 1 inch diameter – 1 foot tube DescriptionDual wall heat shrinkable tubing is a 3:1 shrink ratio, flexible tubing, offering the advantages of integral, adhesive-lined construction. The tubing is made from flame retardant, flexible cross-linked polyolefin with an internal layer of excellent hot melt adhesive. The heat-shrinkable outer wall is durable, while maintaining the high flow and excellent adhesion of the inner sealant liner. When heated in excess of 125ºC (257ºF), the tubing rapidly shrinks to a skintight fit, forcing the melted adhesive lining to flow and cover the underlying surface. The adhesive forms a flexible bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals. Upon cooling, the adhesive solidifies, forming a permanent, non-drying, flexible and water resistant barrier. LengthThe lengths offered in this listing are 12 inch (1 foot) pre-cut lengths. The tubing is precut to simplify shipping. We cannot provide continuous length tubes so a quantity of 6 would be 6 one foot tubes. The tubing is easily cut to your preferred length with scissors or razor blade but a razor blade cut on a flat surface is the preferable way for cuts to be made.
