1930’s All-Original Woven Floral Lace Applique on Mesh Net Flapper Chemise & Matching Edwardian Revival Silk-Velvet Trim Princess Jacket. **SO RARE to find in this COMPLETELY WEARABLE CONDITION, Stevie Nicks would have Rocked this in the 70’s with her Top Hat, would be a STUNNING One-of-A-Kind WEDDING DRESS for a Bohemian Bride! Tiny Lace Covered Ball Buttons down Jacket Front, Shoulder Pads & Snaps at the wrists, body-skimming Chemise has brass zipper at side. Dress Measures Chest-32-34″ (some give here) Waist-28 to 30″, Hip-40″, Length shoulder to Hem-48″. Jacket measures when buttoned Chest-32-34″, Shoulder seam to seam-13 3/4″, Sleeve-22″, Waist-24-26″, Length rear collar edge to hem-24 1/4″. The Dress ALMOST seems Bias-Cut to me below the waist area, there is a bit of stretch and nice cling to accomodate. Additionally, this Lace is not the usually found filmy delicate Mesh, it is more sturdy and substantial, no doubt one of the reasons it’s survived in this Remarkable Condition. Can’t find any holes or tears in this lace amazingly, (if you find any that I’ve missed), be assured they will be very small/minor. Slight dinge at the inside of the jacket’s collar, tiny bit of darkening at the underarm edges of the dress, (estate-direct). The Slip shown under this dress is not it’s original, (but I’m including that for you since it works), it is 1930’s rayon taffeta. A few buttons show wear to the fabric (see pics), minor roughness at a few of the button loops.
