The Jewelweed plant has naturally occurring constituents that neutralize the oils in poison ivy, oak and sumac (urushiol) that can prevent the nasty rash if you catch it early enough. Or treat the actual outbreak for quicker healing and fast, wonderful itch relief. Jewelweed has anti-fungal properties for treating eczema, diaper rash, ring worm, athlete’s foot and jock itch. It can also be effective for acne and will soothe insect bites, stinging nettle, scrapes and abrasions. Some are even using it for wrinkles! Jewelweed has been used as a remedy for many of these ailments for hundreds of years. This Jewelweed Infused Oil is excellent to use undiluted directly on yourself and for making your own soap, salve, skin care and cosmetic products.
