LEGENDS!, Herald (Advertising Flyer), Tryout, Shubert Theatre, Boston, 1986. The James Kirkwood play opened it’s pre-Broadway 23 city tour in Dallas, TX at the Majestic Theatre in 01/09/86 and ended at the Royal Poinciana Playhouse in Palm Beach, FL in 01/18/87 without ever going to NYC. The front features the title, artwork by Joe Eula and cast and production credits. The back contains background on the show, performance dates, ticket schedule and theatre credit. The cast includes Mary Martin, Carol Channing, Gary Beach, Annie Joe, (not listed) Eric Riley and Don Howard. Directed by Clifford Williams. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible. BILLING: Please note: The eBay automated end-of-auction notice is NOT my invoice. I personally invoice 1-3 days after closing. I combine multiple wins, add fair postage and handling, and insurance if necessary or at your request. I ship in specially designed cardboard mailers. Payment is expected promptly.
