None of the deceptive, bait and switch “representative” photos of pretty trays made to look new over undisclosed defects. I sell trays bare, so you may better judge condition and understand exactly what you’re buying! If using a wire brush, sand paper and rattle can paint is beyond your skill set, this lot may not be for you! I removed this factory tray from a 1978 350se destined to the crusher in a local wrecking yard. May fit other years and models. I only guarantee fitment for the donor (stated above) I removed item from. I am not an expert!! Buyer is expected to be knowledgeable. Very solid metal tray in very desirable condition despite minor defects. It’s presented in, ‘as found’ condition. As is seller’s practice, battery tray has had the majority of ugly removed before photos. Battery tray has been through a white vinegar wash, followed by a wire brushing to remove the easy, loose rust and scale. Tray may be used as is or for the perfectionist, plenty work remains to make tray like new. Tray would easily withstand a thorough sand blasting. It’s my personal opinion, the underside speak volumes about the integrity of the tray. Metal trays are heavy (almost 3 lbs packaged). They’re expensive to ship. No one is getting wealthy on postage!!
