This is a large and beautiful official NASA photograph of MICHAEL COLLINS in his spacesuit . Astronaut MICHAEL COLLINS was the third member of the historic APOLLO 11 mission that landed on the Moon in July 1969 . Although COLLINS did not set foot on the Moon , he was the Command Module Pilot that orbited the Moon and received NEIL ARMSTRONG and BUZZ ALDRIN after their first steps on the Moon before returning to Earth . This MICHAEL COLLINS signed photo is highly desirable , for unlike astronauts that signed many collectibles , MICHAEL COLLINS signed very few . COLLINS signed memorabilia are rare . As the third member of the APOLLO 11 team , this MICHAEL COLLINS signed photo is a great collectible of that historic lunar flight . In MINT CONDITION , this Novaspace Galleries edition is large , measuring an overall size of 23″L X 31″H . Beautifully matted and framed , the COLLINS photo measures 16″L X 20″H . Sadly ; MICHAEL COLLINS passed away in April 2021 at the age of 90 . Astronaut BUZZ ALDRIN is the last surviving member of the historic APOLLO 11 mission .
