NEW Odyssey Ai-ONE MILLED 2-BALL T Putter Model 2024 Japan OfficialDescriptiontechnology[A total of four new models have been added, including a new shape that fuses existing heads.A total of four types have been added to the lineup this time. The “ONE WIDE T” has a wide blade shape similar to the DOUBLE WIDE T introduced in the Ai-ONE MILLED TRI-BEAM putter, and the toe and heel of the back flange have a smooth, curved style without the steps found in previous blade types. The “ROSSIE V T” mallet head is a fusion of Odyssey’s popular ROSSIE and V-LINE models, and is the first shape to appear in Odyssey’s long history. The “JAILBIRD MINI T” is the shape of the JAILBIRD MINI, which is also popular with Ai-ONE putters, with Ai-ONE titanium inserts, and the VERSA alignment on the top of the head comes in two colors: a color similar to the bronze gold of the inserts and navy. The first is the VERSA alignment, which is a titanium insert with a bronze gold color. The fourth and final one is the well-known 2-BALL shape, the 2-BALL T. The two alignment discs are trimmed in bronze-gold. [Even on a miss-hit, there is little reduction in ball speed!The most notable feature of the Ai-ONE MILLED putter is the aforementioned Ai-ONE Titanium insert. One of the problems in putting is that ball speed drops when hitting off-center, and data shows that a 1cm shift in the toe or heel of the putter results in a 20% drop in ball speed. In the case of a 10-meter putt, this would result in a 2-meter shortening. The Ai-ONE Titanium Insert was developed to solve this problem, so that even if the hitting point is off by 1 cm, the reduction in ball speed is limited to about 5% (50 cm for 10 m). [Bronze-gold-colored 6-4 titanium insertsThe Ai-ONE Titanium Insert is made of 6-4 titanium, as the name suggests, and is clad in a bronze-gold color. The back of the insert has a complex ridge formed by AI’s design, and the effect of this ridge is that off-center hits do not significantly impair ball speed. This insert is mounted in a stainless steel body with a dark blue PVD finish. The weighting inside and outside the head provides a high moment of inertia.The Ai-ONE MILLED putter is equipped with weights of approximately 10 grams each in the toe and heel of the sole, as well as tungsten weights of up to 20 grams each in the toe and heel of the inside of the head. These processes give the Ai-ONE MILLED putter an extremely high moment of inertia, making it easier to achieve a stable stroke. The STROKE LAB 90 shaft is made entirely from steel.The Ai-ONE MILLED putter features the new STROKE LAB shaft. The previous STROKE LAB shaft was a steel and carbon composite shaft, but while some tour players said they still preferred the steel shaft, we received feedback that they also wanted the stability of the STROKE LAB shaft. In response to this feedback, the new STROKE LAB 90 shaft is made entirely of steel and weighs in the 90g range, while the butt section is designed with the same thickness as the conventional STROKE LAB shaft. The butt section is designed with the same thickness as the conventional STROKE LAB shaft, while reducing torque to prevent unnecessary movement of the shaft during the stroke. A counterweight is also mounted inside the shaft on the hand side.
