Make sure the steam function is turned off. Prepare the Surface: Lay the clothing item flat on the ironing board or a heat-resistant surface. Smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Position the Patch: Place the iron-on patch with the graphic side facing up in the desired location on the clothing. Ensure it is straight and centered as you want it to be permanently fixed. Cover the Patch: Place a thin fabric or towel over the patch. This helps protect both the patch and the fabric from direct heat, which can be too harsh. Iron the Patch: Press the heated iron onto the cloth-covered patch. Apply firm, even pressure and hold it in place for about 30-45 seconds (no back and forth). Flip and Iron the Back Side: Flip the garment inside out and apply even pressure to the backside of the patch for 30 to 45 seconds. If any edges are lifting, cover the patch again with the cloth and reapply the iron, focusing on the edges. Let It Cool: Allow the patch to cool completely before handling the clothing item. This helps the adhesive set properly. Check the Adhesion: Once cooled, gently test the patch to ensure it is securely attached.
