UNPLAYED PROMO ONLY CD WITH INSERTS, ” REMIXED ESPECIALLY FOR AC RADIO BY KEITH COHEN – EDIT BY LARRY WALSH.” THE RAREST OF THE THREE VERSIONS OF THIS TRACK. FEWER THAN 1,400 PRESSED. All three were released in May of 1993, almost 30 years ago. All three have the same inserts. All three have the same promo number printed on the disc- DPRO 79670. All three have the same running time of 3:38 printed on the disc though that is accurate only for one version. All three discs look identical. While all three have different cover stickers to tell them apart – we all know how fragile cd jewel cases are and what happens to them. So how DO you tell them apart? There is a different promo number in the hub of this disc (see picture 3). At the time of release there were nearly 10,000 AM & FM radio stations in the U.S. with formats changing constantly. When they change formats it’s out with the old, in with the new and a lot the music library ends up being tossed. So how many of this rarity still exist? That’s anybody’s guess but it’s safe to assume that at least half of what was pressed is unaccounted for. Ever thumb through used records at a store only to find the cover & record don’t match? Can you imagine a radio station getting three identical LOOKING cds spread out over a short span of time? What are the odds of the discs staying in the correct jewel case? “Oh, we got three-they won’t miss one. After all, we get multiple copies of the same release all the time.” Yeah, collect & trade ’em with your friends. Copies turn up in used cd shops – yeah, but WHICH copy is THIS? – John Q Public isn’t aware that there are three different PROMO versions. We could go on and on but you get the idea. We’ve been at this for over 40 years working directly with record labels, distributors and radio stations and we can tell you from experience that this is one, true McCartney rarity. We haven’t been able to find anymore – again, it’s nearly 30 years since its release, and we’re looking. SHIPPING INCLUDES INSURANCE. SINCE COVID, our Post Office is now only open M-F.
