This vintage Gibson Staffordshire tea set is a rare find from the 1940’s-50s. The set includes a collector tea pot, sugar bowl and creamer with a beautiful pale green and ivory raised floral pattern, made of high-quality glossy porcelain. It has gold trim accents on the lid, handles and spout. The set is perfect for any tea party, and is sure to impress any collector. The tea set was manufactured in Staffordshire England using pottery production techniques, and its glossy finish adds to its elegance. The set consists of three items: Handled Teapot with Spout & Lid Double Handled Sugar Bowl with lid and Mini Pitcher with handle and are original vintage pieces from Gibson’s product line. Teapot is 19.5″ round total, bottom is 3 3/4″ across Sugar Bowl is 13.5 in total around the center, bottom is 2 3/4″ across The small pitcher is 11″ round, total, bottom is 2″ This tea set is a must-have for any pottery or decorative cookware collector. This was my grandmother’s tea set and hasn’t been used for tea in many years. It’s been on display in my mother’s dining room for the past 40 years. It’s in VERY GOOD Used Condition. Please see all photos for details as they are part of the description. There is a small brown spot and a black dot on the sugar bowl. I have zoomed in on those spots in the photos. There is some minor wear to the gold finish. It has a nice aged patina and it looks coppery in color now. Smoke Free Environment with fluffy pets.
