I collected things that i felt would bring the joy and meaning to others that it did for me. Mom said don’t forget your dads police stuff? (Not a chance!) My Dad spent 50 years on the job. No typo 50 years most seniority in the history of the dept. since 1784 AD. He was a dedicated Police Officer and even better a servant of humanity using his gut instinct and Personal Judgement with every situation. This was the good ole days when cops could be cops and kids respected a officer of the law. Seems nowadays a cop is the one who is handcuffed ? Sad times.
