RARE Walt Disney”Donkey-Eared” Pinocchio Original Production Animation Drawing 1940This is a rare original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Pinocchio is from the scene where Pinocchio and his father are reunited inside Geppetto’s boat, which has been swallowed whole by the enormous whale Monstro. You can find the matching onscreen image at the 1:18:15 mark. Soon will come the film’s touching climax, where the “drowned” Pinocchio comes back to life as a real boy, thanks to the blue fairy. The drawing is in graphite over blue pencil, with subtle red pencil highlights. Image size is approximately 4.5″ x 6″; the number 43 is handwritten in the lower right, while a studio stamp is in the lower left. Minor handling and edge wear. EXCELLENT condition.
