Here’s a not-too Vintage Schneider Kreuznach 150mm f/5.6 COMPONON-S Enlarger Lens for many kinds of Enlargers and it’s mounted on a Beseler 4×4 Board with Pilot light. I’m not quite sure but I think this is a bit of a good version— with the “Blue Window” for the aperture settings— but I expect you will know if that’s significant. I think it’s from the mid 1980’s or thereabouts— but I’m not too sure about that either. It’s in used but in Excellent Cosmetic Condition— and seemingly Excellent Operational Condition. The exterior finish has only very minor wear— nothing really to mention– really Near Mint! NOW—- don’t let what looks like spots or fungus worry you! What you see as a ton of little spots from the front side and fungus from the back side—- IS NOT anything bad. It is that weird condition on the outer edges of the lens glass elements, that some lenses get—- it has to do with the edge paint that’s in there. I’m told it is what is called “Schneider-itis” and it’s not a serious condition— it is Not spots or fungus or balsam separation and it has not or will not creep to the glass surfaces. As you can see by the thru-pix…. the glass is beautifully crystal clear! So as I said above, the glass is beautiful—- barely anything or noticeable worth mentioning— very clean with barely a spec of dust and a hint of some surface blemishes that won’t cause anything detrimental to an image. The aperture is working perfectly, no oil on the blades. What you see is what you’ll get (but not the ruler.) Continental US Shipping will be $10.50. It will be packed well and safe. It’s Not Mint, so don’t expect it to be, but it’s pretty darn Nice for a Vintage, Used item that’s about 65+ years-old. What you see is what you’ll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
