For sale is 1 roll of Seattle Filmwroks 5294 Kodak Motion Film Picture 35mm Film stock. This is a 20 exposure roll of 640 speed film with the original box! This is a rare expired filmstock! This and other Seattle Filmworks stock I have is all new, unused. A great film to shoot as expired! Can you shoot expired film? Yes you can! Expired film gives you the opportunity to shoot film now, and save a few bucks vs waiting for films to come back in stock. How do you shoot expired film? Load and shoot it how you would shoot normal film. There are a lot of opinions out there on how to set your ISO. Many say overexpose one stop for every decade, some just overexpose one stop, some shoot at box speed. Do your research and determine what would work best for you based on preference/subject/lighting/comfort. Personally, I follow the decade rule sometimes for older film. Film that isn’t terribly old (10-20 years expired) I just overexpose one stop. I have them develop at box speed. Things to remember with expired film: There are no guarantees, I guarantee no specific results as expired film can produce variable results. Many times, shooting expired film will work out fine. I keep mine in the fridge with my unexpired film. There are many videos on YouTube out there, check out people such as grainydays, KingJvpes, and others. Expired film can give you some very unique colors and results, which is where the fun begins 🙂 Did you know Kodak has been INCREASING their pricing? With these projected price increases on new film, expired film will also likely rise. The film will be packaged securely and wrapped well in a cardboard box.
