MESSAGE ME! ~~ WHEEL COVER SET RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels = Excellent (A), Near Excellent (A/A-), Very Good (A-), Pretty Good (A–). Grade B levels = Driver Grade Pretty Good (B++), Driver Grade Good Shape (B+), Average Condition (B), Fair/Poor but Usable Condition (B-, C+, C). All “B” & “C” Grades will have more visible damage than any “A” Grade. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal and the overall perceptive appearance, not paint (if applicable). This auction item’s average grade is highlighted in BLUE on this scale. APPLICATION: This set will fit all 1967-78 Eldorados with the factory FWD 15″ steel rims. This wheel cover design is considered the sportiest one ever offered by Cadillac. QUANTITY & GRADE: This listing is for FOUR wheel cover in Grade “A/A-” condition, per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered “NEAR EXCELLENT”. Wheel covers in this Grade Range have great visual appeal with typically a very minor blemish or two (essentially light wear & tear). Many high resolution close-up pictures are shown in ALL Caddypartz listings~! ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for FOUR wheel covers. Unusual history — The wheel covers have been together since the 1970’s. I acquired these (about 9 years ago) from a Custom Body Shop guy who was doing a customization on a green 1975 Eldorado hardtop – which had only 22,xxx original miles on it. The set was quite well maintained, and are possibly the nicest full (used) set you could hope to find. The set is (overall average) in the Excellent “A” grade zone (two of the wheel covers are “A”, and the 3rd/4th are “A/A-“). Visually they are highly presentable looking, even close-up….you would swear that they are NOS when looking at them a few feet away. Get this: There are NO curb rash, NO dents, NO stone dings on the crown sides, NO bent or missing spokes, NO hazed or faded emblems, NO hazed / dulled finish, NO bent or damaged Retaining Tabs, NO hammer dents in the Outer Perimeter Rim. All of those “NO” answers add up to 1 big “YES” – that this set is in incredible condition. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Regarding damage – Two of them (#2410C2, #2410C1) are essentially flawless – nothing to say for damage. Amazing survivors. The other 2 (#2410C3 and #2410C4) are identical to the “A” ones with an exception — both have a slight set of scratch lines likely from a prior storage situation (Heck, they’ve been in a bubble wrap ever since I laid eyes on them). I think the scratches are from another Eldorado wheel cover sliding across it – line spacing seems similar. #C3 has a few (about 8) surface scratch lines (under 1″ long each) in the Center’s lower left area. #C4 has similar scratches at the far left Center. They really don’t show up well in the photos. That is the only flaw that drops my grade to “A/A-” for each. I probably would call them “A” grade if their brothers (#1, #2) weren’t flawless and coming with them in the same set! By the way, each wheel cover was disassembled (crest / wreath removed), deep cleaned and gently hand polished. I carefully restored the colors to all of the Crests, so they are quite bold and beautiful. This set definitely has elegant appeal if you choose to use them on any 1967-78 Eldorado! Your Cadillac is a classy car, and deserves wheel covers that enhance that late 1960’s-1970’s Cadillac Swag essence….this set will do that fine. Despite being 50 years old, these stunning “nearly new” wheel covers still have a lifetime of miles left on them. PHOTO NOTES: Most pics taken on a partly cloundy afternoon in tree-shaded light. Caddypartz wheel cover pictures are the best on eBay (High resolution in the best of lighting – – no blurry, shadowy, ambiguous or out-of-focus photos)~! Each wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc….. A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Keep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics. See my other auctions for individual 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers. ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world…..they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo…just the original factory ones.** NOTE: These are old-school wheel covers! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get them to fit perfect on your steel wheels….especially if you have balancing weights. These wheel covers will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15″ steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
