SIGNED & DATED BY THE AUTHOR IN HOUSTON, TX NOT PERSONALIZED ~ NO MARKINGS INSIDE FROM PREVIOUS OWNER ~ ORIGINAL JACKET HAS BEEN CUSTOM WRAPPED IN MYLAR ~ SHOGUN (1975) TRUE 1ST EDITION/1ST PRINTING ~ MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!!! **Signed in July of 1975 during the author’s promotional world tour of which Texas was one of his first stops. So this volume is definitely one of the first ever signed by the author… -The book itself is still in good solid condition with much life left. And has no serious flaws, no moisture damage, no odors and no markings or bookplates inside from previous owner… -Has strong binding and no loose pages, binding and pages tight. Volume can still easily stand up on its own. Please see photos for further description… -Volume does have some minor shelf wear to the boards and minor foxing/discoloration along the outside pages. There’s also a couple of small stains to the exterior pages as shown in the photos. (**Please note the small stain at the beginning of the book did bleed onto the orange front end-page and also the first couple pages. Very small, right at the bottom…) -Please note the slight concavity of the spine which is actually very common in these 50 year old volumes… -There’s also a slight spine lean, but it’s very minor, volume can still easily stand up on its own. So this probably came about from how it was shelved over the years, not through abuse or by having been used as a reading copy… -Original dust jacket is in good condition with much life left. But does have minor wear and tear, mostly along the top edge and spine areas. Small chip missing to the back. Also, please note the foxing and discoloration… But is still fully intact, not price clipped and now custom wrapped in mylar protecting the entire jacket! (**Jacket has been freshly wrapped in a brand new mylar covering which should keep it well protected for many years to come.) Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
