Patent pending Introduction Speedtrap™ Chute picks up where the mower manufacturer left off, giving operators the ability to maximize their aesthetic goals for their yards and customers. It balances the mower’s full and even discharge capabilities, with the ability to keep grass out of manicured landscape areas. Built with a strict adherence to simplicity, reliability, efficiency, and affordability, Speedtrap provides low maintenance, ultra-reliable, and user-friendly affordable discharge solutions to lawn professionals and home-owners alike. Operation Speedtrap Chute blocker operation is controlled by hand with a rigid, yet flexible cable that is loosely attached near the operators controls for convenience. The Speedtrap allows operators various choices ranging between full discharge, variable angle deflection, and fully closed discharge blocking. The variable function of the Speedtrap provides a more custom approach to discharge, allowing operators the on-the-fly ability to quickly direct the angle of clipping disbursement, minimizing some of the typical pile ups that come from a full closure. Operating example: As you approach a manicured area, simply reach down with your hand and pull on the cable, and the Speedtrap drops into the fully closed position, blocking discharge. Pull back on the cable again, and the chute will pivot back up into its resting position. Hold the plate partially open with the cable to allow continued discharge of clippings, at the angle which suits your needs.
