This lens is truly a mechanical marvel in design having a 2 helicoid design with the bottom focusing from infinity to its closest close focus and then top ring can be engaged for macro imaging to do 1:1 (full life-size) imaging as well. This lens provides AMAZING images for film or digital SLR systems (manually focused).. This lens is a highly coveted optic offering a moody glow feel with nice sharpness when used wide open and fantastic high detail sharp image quality when stopped down. Tis lens offers great color and contrast and a great background bokeh, a great “character” image feel with the ability to be used as a standard fast aperture lens and a stellar macro -WoW…. It is a very unique lens for both still imaging and Cinema alike. This lens comes exactly as shown, in very nice cosmetic condition showing light barrel use, nice glass and works. This lens focuses nice and smoothly. The aperture works well at all positions f1.9 – 22 by pressing the side trigger button and works well from f1.9-f11 with f16 and f22 looking the same (until the trigger is pressed down) when using the A/M side stop-down lock. . The glass has No deep scratches, No fungus, minor dust, with glass having some inner coating spots/crazing that do not appear to have any image affect.
