Featured is a stunning and rare Antique Stellmacher Amphora Art Nouveau Austrian Turn-Teplitz 17.5″ Grapes Vase – Bohemian earthenware pottery hand-painted and glazed with raised grapes, vines and leaves. Measures approx. 17.5″ tall.This piece was was created in Austria in the early 20th century (1900-1908) by Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel. The exceptional combination of colors and techniques, as well as the unprecedented craftsmanship used in creating this masterpiece make it an extraordinary presentation piece that displays beautifully. Considering the age of this vase of over 100 years since its creation, it is in lovely condition. Again, given its age, there are a few condition issues. Please see the last few photos for these issues as this piece is being sold “as is”.Issues – Chips on leaves- a small piece of missing vine- slight hairline in the right handle- crazing throughout as normal for a piece this ageConsidering that this is approximately 120 years old, wear is almost a given. This piece is marked Amphora, “S”, and numbered on the base (see photos)I will double box this extremely securely and carefully. Again, this piece is quite rare, but I will accept reasonable offers.
