eBay Description This is an all-mahogany model made from Honduran mahogany for the top, sides, back, and neck. It features the familiar combination of solid top and back with laminated sides that is typical of Takamine guitars. The preamp is the CT4-DX, which operates on an 18V power system with two 9V batteries, providing a wide range of powerful sound through the piezo pickup, and the built-in contact pickup allows you to enjoy percussion-style playing as well. The body top, sides, and back show minor signs of use, including small scratches and dings typical for a used instrument. There is a 1 cm ding on the top side near the sixth string, forming a “river” shape, as well as other wider dings scattered across the body. The back has minor buckle marks, and the sides show some dings. Despite the overall wear, the natural color of the guitar makes the imperfections less noticeable, so it is still highly recommended. After arriving, the guitar was fully adjusted by a professional repair technician, and the playing condition is excellent.
