This item is for a complete 1/72 model decal set, see below for a description. Decal Manufacturer: Techmod Title: Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib Ref: 72042 Scale: 1/72 Decals: The sheet contains decals for four Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib aircraft, a Royal Air Force (RAF) Typhoon Mk.Ib serving with 257 Squadron (Sqn) flown by Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) R.H. Folkes based at Warmwell in August 1943, a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Typhoon Mk.Ib serving with 451 Sqn based at Idku, Egypt in August 1943 finished in a Dark Earth and Stone camouflage over Azure Blue lowers scheme, a RAF Typhoon Mk.Ib serving with 181 Sqn (not 187 Sqn as per the placement guide), albeit two versions with the aircraft codes EL-C could be modelled, one with the nose art ‘Doreen’ from June 1943 and one flown by Australian Flying Officer (Fg Off) Thomas McGovern based at Appledram in 1943 with alternative serials that could be made up from the serials on the sheet and a RAF Typhoon Mk.Ib serving with 486 Sqn flown by Sergeant (Sgt) K.G. Taylor-Cannon based at Tangmere in December 1942. Also includes a double sided A4 black and white placement guide showing side, upper and lower profiles and a single sided colour cover sheet showing side profiles.
