This popular classic design features 2¼ inch wide by 3/4 inch thick frames. The inner and outer frames are nicely detailed, and the raised center panel has a coved detail. Your doors are sanded to a 220 grit finish at the factory and don’t require any additional sanding prior to painting. MDF is a manmade board that’s designed to be easily painted. It’s never stained because it doesn’t have natural wood grain. If you’re wanting to stain your cabinet doors, we recommend either Red Oak (easy to stain, distinctive grain) or Maple (subtle grain, a bit tricky to stain).
