An estate find, a rare vintage Universal Geneve Aero-Compax in 14k rose gold, crafted during the 1940s. The 37 mm case is stamped with the Universal Geneve logo, import marks and K.W. .585, and contains solid ends for the strap to fold over, crowns have been replaced. The luminous chronograph dial contains patina and features subsidiary continuous seconds, 30 minutes, 12 hour and a memento register to set a fixed time for a given event (minute hand is missing and the hour seems to have been replaced) via the left crown, one of the hour hands has missing lume. Its service history is unknown and we recommend a service, it runs and is sold as found. Case measures 37 x 45 mm, 12.5 mm thick.
