eBay Fine handcrafted vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Bracelet. The bracelet is composed of six curved links. Each of the links have a fine crushed stone inlay featuring turquoise and green with various shades of grey. Various engraved Aztec Copper symbols are inlaid on top of each link including a Lizard, Fish, Cow, Snake, Dragon, Cat, etc. This bracelet measures approx. 1″ wide and has a 7″ wearable length. It has a long flat hook clasp. It is marked on the inside for 925 Sterling with the makers mark VJC for Victor Jaimez. There is no eagle stamp so I believe the bracelet dates circa 1950s. The bracelet weighs 35 grams. Victor Jaimez worked at William Spratling’s Taller deLas Delicias and at some point, also for Emma Melendez. I have tried to picture each link so you can see the detail. I lightly wiped this bracelet off with a silver polishing cloth. The copper has a warm patina but would shine if desired. This bracelet is in very fine vintage condition.
