Vintage Made in England Teapot, Black with Gold Trim Hand Painted Flowers. This is an eye catching little teapot in person. I noticed a couple of minor condition issues while I was photographing it. One is a chip that I can’t believe I didn’t see on the spout. I think it’s hard to notice because of the gold trim. Also, there is a bump in the side that seems to be a manufacturing thing and another little spot in the glaze. I’ve photographed each. These are all things you would have to be looking for to notice. I thought the style of the painted flowers reminded me of old Ransburg tins and perhaps this would go well with a set of them. It’s a shiny little vintage pot, looking for its new home.
