Up for sale is a Vintage Rare 1986 Tag Heuer Reference 805.302 Caliber / Movement Valjoux 7700 Swiss Made 1/10 Seconds Stopwatch in Excellent Cosmetic and Working Condition. Case measures 50mm. Numerous pics can be zoomed if you click on pic. I am not responsible for any customs delays or charges with International sale. In the 1920’s, Heuer became very well known as the first watchmaker to break the barrier of 1/100 second accuracy in a mechanical watch, although they did not achieve this feat in a normal watch, but rather the Mikrograph stopwatch. After being the official timekeepers of 2 successful olympics, Heuer continued to make mechanical stopwatches even to the point on January 1st, 1986 when Tag took over the company to form the Tag Heuer brand we know today. In 1986, however, they were unsure of what to call the joined companies, so production continued with the original Heuer logo for a brief period before the Tag Heuer logo was created.
