This heart pendant would make a wonderful gift to vintage jewelry lover, or of course a great addition to your ever-growing jewelry collection. The heart pendant is signed Van Lou Sterling. The chain necklace that it is shown with, and came with, does not appear to be sterling just some sort of random, old metal. I have no idea if it was the original, but I would guess it came with a sterling chain back in the day. To me, this pendant is an excellent vintage condition – wear consistent with age. It appears to have been gently worn and well taken care of. Please take a look at the photos so you can determine its condition yourself. I did not polish it. I leave that up to the buyer as some folks to buy items as they were found. Condition: Vintage or preowned jewelry typically shows wear constant with its age. That is why we love it so much. It is not new or professionally cleaned and I have no idea where it has been before I received it.
