eBay ebay lot 86-23. I listed this watch in the jewelry category because it is a bracelet style and pretty, and the watch categories are too confining in the type of watch you are selling, also not very well set up to handle vintage watches, especially on of this age–I am guessing no later than the 1960’s. Probably earlier, as most of the listings I saw on ebay were later than the 1950’s era. Not sure how they determined the watch’s age–will have to do more research. ANYWAY, this one is in good condition, both in the outer appearance, and in the fact that it runs and keeps accurate time–not off more than a minute or two a day, and when you have a mechanical wind watch, you wind it every day and adjust the time, at least I always have. This one has a Swiss movement, and I think is made in Switzerland, as it says Swiss at the bottom of the face. It is a small delicate watch, with quite a small stretch band, in good condition too. I think it would be for a smaller wrist only, and it is ok to wear the band loose as a bracelet, if you have tiny wrists! (I don’t!) It has a very minor scratch on the face along one side of the face, and truthfully, I didn’t see it without magnification. It is a very light scratch and I think if you worked at it, the scratch could be rubbed out, if it bothered you. Contact me if you have any questions that I have not rambled on about so far.
